Sitting on the ground beside the garden wall, I noticed some purple plants reaching upwards and the pink ones reaching out. In the gap, I noticed the short garden wall. What I had was a squirrel’s eye view.
While admiring the flowers’ vibrant colors, I thought about gratitude.
The last few minutes before the sunset pass so quickly and quietly. In Rookery Bay surrounded by water and mangrove, it is especially peaceful. While peaceful, the moment is also filled with drama — the brilliance of the sun, the vibrant color of the sky and the quickening darkness. Nature gave us a magnificent show.
While Courtney and Scott were off on their honeymoon, I had a photo shoot with their wedding flowers. Courtney loved the soft color medley of white, pale green and peach, but she asked the florist Kevin Morris to add some “pop” of vibrant colored flowers as well.
